If you’ve stumbled onto this site, you may be wondering, “Why did you bother to build this site?” Well, there are a couple of reasons that are personal to our team, but really we wanted to share the things we like in this town that most people may not be aware of. In a post-Covid (hopefully) world, you can easily see how important it is to support our local businesses, but we’ve also come to appreciate great service where most businesses seem to be riddled with people who have zero care for quality or professionalism. In those cases, we will recognize national brands that have great people making it all work. Places like Chick-Fil-A come to mind, but everyone knows about them, so you probably will never see them on this site.
We’re starting out small. We’ll add businesses or services as we encounter them or are reminded of them, but we’ll always do our best to share the good stuff. We do understand that changes and turnover will happen, so if there’s an update that you feel is needed to keep this site on the right side of history, please do not hesitate to let us know. If you know of a business or service we should give props to, please let us know about that, too.
Other than that, this site is a labor of love and we’ll do our best to keep it up to date and will continue to add things as they become necessary.
